Job Description

Our client is looking for a talented Senior UI Developer to create amazing code and user experiences.  The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean design, possess superior UI coding skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, functional user interfaces, and to create a more engaging and meaningful interfaces that scale with the volume of data that the product present.  Looking for an UI engineer candidate who embraces the challenge of tackling large problems and creating solutions that will "wow" the end user.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Working with engineering team, design and develop UI code 
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Requirements
  • Proven UI Development experience in one or two or the following framework
    • Angular 2+, React.JS, or Vue
  • TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.JS
  • Working with Cloud Platforms
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field of Study
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented. You are inspired & motivated by the energy & ideas of teammates.
  • Holistic engineering & ownership, from design to deployment and onwards
Nice to have
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Knowledge of JIRA
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar)
