Our client is looking for a Senior Salesforce Technical Lead.   The Saleasforce Lead plays a critical role in making sure the Salesforce environment is designed, developed, and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs. This role is involved at every phase of the project lifecycle, from intake through delivery, and ensures that solutions are well engineered and maintainable, get delivered on schedule, align to the vision, and provide the anticipated business value.

The Senior Salesforce Technical Lead works with leadership across the business to ensure our systems align with business vision, technology, roadmaps, and/or standards. This individual must be able to design Salesforce solutions that cross multiple business areas within our environment and must think holistically with respect to the integration and operation of many complex components. This person thoroughly understands Salesforce strategies as well as the technical standards, specifications, and policies that are supported within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce across the enterprise
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and instill the principles of this culture in small teams
  • Oversee successful development delivery
  • Articulate roadmap and sprint planning decisions to stakeholder audiences
  • Participate in the establishment of and adherence to appropriate technical standards
  • Where requested, audit, document, and assist in the correction of any issues identified
  • Ability to integrating third-party systems
  • Bachelors in Computer science or Software Engineering background preferred
  • Hands-on Developer and/or Architect Experience
  • Knowledge and experience managing development of enterprise systems using a variety of platforms including Salesforce.com
  • Experience applying robust SDLC processes/tools such as SCCS, CI, unit testing, automated regression testing, Jira, Git, and Jenkins in a fast paced Salesforce.com environment
  • Experience managing development and quality assurance resources
  • Experience in leading a Salesforce development and/or product team within an agile environment
  • Experience delivering applications on Salesforce.com application exchange
  • History of strong leadership, hands-on configuration, development knowledge, and a proven track record for project delivery
  • Understanding of Apex and Visualforce
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Deeply understand the challenges of Salesforce development and implementation
  • Experience integrating third-party systems
  • Ability to manage vendors and in-house development resources is critical
  • Must possess a history of strong leadership and a proven track record for timely project delivery
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of technical concepts, Salesforce systems architecture, and development methods
  • Proven experience on a full lifecycle Salesforce implementation, including gathering requirements, assessing business needs, and writing documentation in a Salesforce implementation
  • Good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering technical solutions that balance enterprise standards, business needs, and technology capabilities and limits
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
