We are looking for a Salesforce Architect to be part of a dynamic, globally distributed development team of IT professionals. The role will be based out of Dallas, TX
Position Description
The Salesforce Architect is required to provide business solutions by design, architecting,  configuring & developing CRM software applications on platform.
Key requirements and Characteristics
  • Must have hands on Architecture and design experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are very important due to the multiple levels of communication this candidate will have to go through
  • Must have large-scale enterprise implementation experience
  • Need to have designed Salesforce Architecture design patterns and use-cases
  • Experience creating Architectural frameworks and work to move those to the Cloud
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and Architecture of CRM solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform
  • Design and configure applications that leverage the development platform
  • Lead the configuration of the modules built on the Salesforce platform
  • Assess business requirements, translate them into solutions (Salesforce platform) and lead the definition and communication of technical scope
  • Be the internal subject matter expert on Salesforce platform and be the go-to person in communicating the appropriateness of Salesforce solution options both from a technical and business perspective
  • Capture business processes in automation solutions using the Salesforce platform and the development architecture
  • Maintain technical documentation. Create and lead solution design documents, integrations designs, configuration information, developed API and other interface documentations, etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement of implemented solutions. Simplify and modernize solutions and services by planning standardized interfaces, removing redundancies, improving efficiencies, sharing feature / functionality context across multiple business lines, solutions and business needs
  • Work with speed and urgency in an Agile environment, using Agile methodologies with a goal of defining canonical solution models that maximize reuse and ensure team velocity
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related major with 6+ years of CRM development experience or Masters in Computer Science or related major with 4+ years of CRM Development
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Expertise in one or more of the following:
    • Hands on Salesforce Architecture experience (Preferably within an enterprise level company)
    • Knowledgeable in standard functions/ modules of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Custom Cloud and Analytics Cloud
    • Experience with design and architecture of
    • Expertise with Apex and Visual Force page development
    • Demonstrated experience with development platform
    • Demonstrated full lifecycle experience in the architecture, design, configuration, testing and deployment of functionality
    • Demonstrated experience of administration and end user security requirements
    • Experience with large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces and data conversion
    • Experience in using efficient methodologies (e.g. Agile) and driving development platforms
    • Proven experience in bridging the needs and pace across business and IT teams
    • Excellent facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills
The following are considered a plus, but not required:
  • Certification in Salesforce Solution Designer, Administration, or Development
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM201) and/or Certified Salesforce Developer (DEV 401)
  • Certified Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant and/or Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
