Overview
The Digital Marketing Designer creates and designs high-quality digital material for a wide range of digital platforms. Working with the student and corporate marketing teams, this position develops the design, typography, and color for all outbound marketing—landing pages, digital ads, email templates. The Digital Marketing Designer role requires a positive, can-do attitude; strong attention to detail; and exceptional design skills. This position reports to the Director of Production.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead designer for all things digital—Facebook ads, display ads, email templates, landing pages, microsites
  • Maintain, update, and edit existing marketing materials
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers to develop marketing strategies and materials that fit company’s design guidelines and sensibilities as well as maintaining and adhering to the design guidelines of our partners
  • Support the corporate and managerial teams with creative content
  • Manage digital-related tasks
  • Design/produce digital-related marketing material
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout work for both corporate and partners
  • Maintain the look and feel of company and partner collateral
  • Provide strong knowledge of the digital landscape.
  • Offer new ideas and concepts clearly and effectively to the Creative Marketing Manager
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of arts degree, preferably in marketing and design, or comparable work experience
  • Design experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite package: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience designing digital ads, landing pages, and microsites
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong interest in design trends
  • Demonstrated creativity—must have artistic flair and an eye for design
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and superb problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce and deliver creative, high-quality materials within tight deadlines
  • Interest and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Adaptability to the company’s needs in the way we deliver our service
  • Effectiveness in a fast-moving and/or changing environment that includes varying tasks, responsibilities, and people
